Larry earned his Bachelors of Arts degree in photography from Brooks Institute, majoring in advertising-illustration. Currently pursuing his Masters of Fine Art degree at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco; antisipated graduation May 2010.
Larry began his career in Los Angeles working with PEOPLE Magazine. At the same time he worked with advertising agencies on motorcycle and automotive accounts for Nissan, Toyota Volkwagen, Honda and Suzuki. During his early years in California, Larry was a contributor to CYCLE GUIDE magazine producing numerous covers and inside editorial photo-stories. He moved to Houston, Texas to work on annual reports and oil industry related projects in 1981. He earned a reputation for being able to coax a smile from even the toughest Texas oilman. Larry is comfortable working in dangerous industrial enviroments, hanging out of helicopters or being stuck offshore for extended periods as a result of his oil industry experience. Be sure to ask.
In 1992 Larry moved his business to sunny Miami, Florida to evolve into a more retail client base. His first assignments were for Italian Costa Cruise Line , now part of Carnival Cruises and ironically, Continental Airlines based in Houston. Larry is currently busy producing ads and promotional material for the resort and tourism industry, pharmaceutical industry and a constant stream of executive portraits made on location. |
